🏐 Team Yakima’s Northwest Junior Jamboree

Est. 1979 | The Longest-Standing Tournament in the Region
2026 Theme: "Play Fierce. Live Aloha." 🌺

Team Yakima proudly hosts the Northwest Junior Jamboree, one of the Northwest’s most historic and celebrated volleyball tournaments. Founded in 1979, this event has grown to welcome over 200 teams at its peak—cementing its legacy as one of the largest and longest-running tournaments in our region.

This two-day event features competitive play for 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U divisions, drawing teams from across the region. Matches are scheduled and managed through AES, ensuring a smooth and organized flow throughout pool play, crossover matches, and championship brackets.

Sportsmanship remains at the heart of the Jamboree. Officiating teams recognize outstanding displays of respect, teamwork, and integrity throughout the weekend—values that define our volleyball community.

On Friday evening, Team Yakima partners with ERVA to host the ERVA All-Star Tryouts, bringing together officials, region staff, and volunteers for an evening of preparation, collaboration, and Aloha spirit before competition begins.

We are proud to honor the 2026 NWJJ Donna & Dan Winckler Volleyball Sportsmanship Award, honoring individuals who exemplify sportsmanship, leadership, and integrity on and off the court. This prestigious award celebrates the Wincklers’ lasting contributions as coaches, parents, and leaders—and their continued generosity through an annual scholarship sponsorship for a deserving athlete.

Theme: 🏐 “Play Fierce. Live Aloha.”
This year’s theme celebrates the balance of competitive drive and positive spirit—encouraging athletes to bring intensity to every rally while embodying the warmth, respect, and unity of the Aloha spirit both on and off the court.

Registration Opens: December 13th on AES

Tournament Locations: Yakima School District, East Valley Schools, West Valley Schools, and Selah

At Team Yakima, we believe in providing a tournament that not only challenges teams but also honors sportsmanship, community, and the love of the game.
